"Your Studer sounds incredible! ... Even though a lot of the mixes are quite different, it sounds like an album! All the tracks fit together and I love the character. Killer dynamics too. Had a huge smile on my face listening back to these."

My selection of analog equipment has been carefully curated over many years. It provides a very clean and transparent signal path, with transformerless solid state EQ and compression patched in between flagship digital audio converters. It is also capable of a wide variety of analog color, harmonics and saturation when desired. The Buzz EQ, FCS compressor, and Neve converter all have switchable transformer stages with unique sonic signatures. The Knif tube compressor is quite clean at normal operating levels, but can be driven into more colorful territory by loading the output stage and boosting gain. The option of tape layback to the Studer A80 brings another flavor to the table.
